Marie-Thérèse Willemsen

After graduating as a photographer several years ago (Dutch Photography School / Academy for Image Creation), I ventured into graphic design in Belgium and put my camera aside for at least 10 years. Currently, I’ve rediscovered my passion for photography, working both with analog medium format cameras (Rolleiflex) on 6x6cm negatives and with a small digital pocket camera or smartphone, which I view as my 'personal work'.

In November 2019, I was selected for YOC, a curated & professional platform for contemporary art, a side project of Galerie DESSERS in Hasselt, Belgium.
